KBD has maintained an outstanding safety program, boasting industry-leading safety records that consist of an annual OSHA Incident Rate and Worker’s Compensation Insurance Experience Modification Rate (EMR) that are well below the national average.

KBD is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment on all projects. All levels of management are required to take several safety courses. The mandatory courses include, but are not limited to:

• OSHA 10-hour Training
• First Aid Training and CPR
• Bloodborne Pathogens/ Accident Investigation
• Trenching and Excavating
• Scaffolds
• Fall Protection
• Confined Spaces
